Everyone in some moment or other will day dream. Some do it more often than others.
It's funny how we suddenly smile and have that nice feeling deep inside our hearts. It's wondeful while it last. Same goes with love. I dont know when I will ever be married but I love weddings except the part where aunts and nosy cousins ask you 'the' question! "So when is your turn?" What's up with these people? Is there a written rule that they have to focus on the single people during weddings? Hello...please focus on the bride and groom! After all, it is suppose to be their day.
Well, my cousin's son got married last week and it has been quite some time since there is a wedding in our family. As expected, these are the events or place where you can't escape 'the' question! Out of the blue I just said it's gonna be on 080808. My cousin was thrilled but said it was also going to be her youngest sister's wedding and she went..."Wow! A double wedding! That would be Lovely...."
I bet what she actually meant was, "why is this women trying to steal my sister's lime light!" Of course she got all excited and more questions came and I just had to make it up as we go along! Thanks to my very sporting sisters-in-law and brothers, everyone played along. Almost seems real. (Now all I have to do is get a man!) Shouldnt be so difficult. I'm sure I can buy one off the shelve in a supermarket or something! One can buy practically anything from the internet nowadays.
So what has all this got to do with day dreaming? Well I was just thinking, what if it actually happens. So many things to prepare. Will it be simple or will it be grand? Will there be a theme or colour scheme? Who will be invited and where will it be? But at the rate I am going now, everyone just want to have fun but not commit.
At the end of the day, I love myself and I am not letting anyone hurt me in anyway. If there is a man for me out there, then it's a bonus and I thank God for sending him my way. If not, I still thank God for my loving family and wonderful friends around me who are always around when I need them...be it a sunny day or a rainy day. I love you all.
